Hello, My name is Corey Stilts. I joined Elmira College in 2009. This was return home for me as I grew up in the region. I received a B.S. Degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. I received my Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the SUNY Buffalo. I enjoy teaching and mentoring students and I teach a variety of courses that includes Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Forensic Science, and travel course to Ireland and Alaska. I am also the current Chair of the Mathematics and Natural Science Division.
My interests include the various applications of Photodynamic Therapy as well using Arduino microprocessors in chemical applications.
