Welcome
I am a New York State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who also holds teacher certification in New York State. I earned the Master of Science degree in Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped from Ithaca College. I am a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), hold ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence, and am the recipient of three Awards for Continuing Education presented by ASHA.
I have published book reviews for ASHA, Choice Publications, and Disabilities Studies Quarterly (DSQ) and have worked with Pearson Publishing in the process of test standardization.
I teach courses in Language Disorders, Anatomy and Physiology, Neurogenic Communication Disorders, Aural Rehabilitation, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication. In addition to my teaching duties, I supervise in the Elmira College Speech and Hearing Clinic and administer speech-language evaluations.
I am approved by the NYS Department of Health to deliver speech and language services to Early Intervention (EI) and Preschool children.
