Product review: Go-To Guide for Phonological Awareness was reviewed for ASHA. The review is available on ASHA’s website, www.asha.org.

Book review: Elder Abuse: Selected Papers from the Prague World Congress on Family Violence was reviewed for Disabilities Studies Quarterly (DSQ), an online peer-reviewed journal. The review was published in the Fall 2005 issue of DSQ.

Presented a 2 hr. workshop on Autism to LISP and Work for a Cure. (3/06) Book review: The science and fiction of autism was reviewed for CHOICE and appeared in the June, 2006 issue.

Mentor for ASHA: Student To Empowered Professional (S.T.E.P.) 1:1 Mentoring Program, a national resource for students enrolled in communication sciences and disorders programs. (2006-present)

Presented a 2 hour in-service for STASLHA (10/17/06) on Childhood Apraxia of Speech

Book review: Engaging autism: using the floortime approach to help children relate, communicate, and think was reviewed for CHOICE and appeared in the November, 2006 issue.

Participated in the standardization process of the Oral Written Language Scale (OWLS) (fall 2006) for Pearson Assessments.

Book Review: Social and communication development in autism spectrum disorders: early identification, diagnosis, and intervention was reviewed for CHOICE and appeared in the January 2007 issue.

Presented a 2 hr. workshop for LISP and TEACHH regarding SLP’s role in the schools

Book Review: Making autism a gift: inspiring children to believe in themselves and lead happy, fulfilling lives was reviewed for CHOICE and appeared in the September 2007 issue.
