"Life is partly what we make it, and partly what it is made by the friends we choose.” – Tennessee Williams.
Growing up and going to school with the same group of people made it easy to make close friends. I have grown so close to my friends, and with all of us going our separate ways to college, I have remained close to the people who mattered. Here at Elmira, I have made a new set of friends who I know will remain friends with the entire time I’m here and even longer. My best friend since the second grade is Steffanie, and I don’t know where I would be today without her. She goes to Lemoyne College now, but I talk to her almost everyday. We have had our ups and downs, but I know she will always be there for me. Some of my other close friends from home are Kaila, Caity, Kelsey, Alex, Brooke, Krisitn, Jake, Brad, Travis, and Justin. When coming to Elmira College, I was sooo nervous about making new friends, but being on the lacrosse team made it a lot easier. Here I have made some strong relationships that I know are going to be long lasting. Emma and Colette are my closest friends here along with Madison and Caitlin who follow close behind. Emma and Colette play lacrosse with me, along with Meg, who also became a great friend. My relationship with every single one of these people is something that I cherish and what gets me through my days and they mean the world to me.
