The Class Experience

This was a great third term class. I learned a lot about using a MAC computer, and making a web page. I had a good experience interviewing Florence Kushner and learning about her experience in WWII. Diane and Stephanie were very helpful to our needs, and they are very nice people. I enjoyed this class a lot.

I really enjoyed myself in this class. Even though it got a little frustrating at times, it was all worth it. I found myself walking back from class thinking that I really like what I just did. Being a business major, I think that I will really be able to use my knowledge that I learned in this class about making websites. It helped bring out my creative side, which is very hard to do, and it was overall just a great experience. It's a great class to take for 3rd term and I would recommend it to anybody that asked me.

I really enjoyed www.women. I thought the course exposed us to a variety of things. The fact that the topic changes each year is wonderful. Just being able to put web sites together is a great
skill to have acquired. I would recommend this class to anyone.

This term three has been a very fun and laid back term, only frustrating like once a week...so that makes for four hard days!! I enjoyed learning about powerful women who have a lot of useful tips regarding the workforce and the world around us. I am excited to know that I can create websites through Dreamweaver, seeing how not very many people out there know how to
work with computers, let alone software. Even though I hate Macs it was great having a patient teacher who was always there to help you, including after class hours. I would recommend this course to anyone, as you acquire very important skills that are great to have in the outside world and help to boost your resume.

I enjoyed www.women, because it taught me multiple skills that I can and will use in the future. I became very comfortable with building and maintaining the webpage, and I also became very comfortable with my own ability to use the computers effectively and efficiently. I really enjoyed this course.

www.women was a great class. Prior to this class I had never used a MAC computer before and never thought of making a webpage before. Now that the class is over, I have a general understanding of both things. The first few weeks are a breeze, it’s the last few that are stressful. All in all this class was a great experience and I'm glad I took it. Oh yeah, Diane is a fun teacher.

My experience in this class has been great this term. I enjoyed the group that I worked with because everyone made valid attempts to contribute equally to all projects. We all
worked hard, and I believe in the end had a good outcome on our webpages. I absolutely loved this class. I enjoyed the freedom and the atmosphere. Both Stephanie and Diane have been great and very understanding and I personally appreciate it. I had fun this term working on the webpages and I'm looking forward to being able to apply what I have learned in this class in future projects.

As a senior just weeks away from graduation choosing my final class at Elmira College was a difficult decision. There were many courses that interested me, and I was torn between using my last term to learn new things or simply to relax and have fun. www. women was the perfect
blend of fun and learning. Having taken classes with Dr. Diane Maluso before I knew that I would not only learn a great deal from her, but that I would enjoy it. Her sense of humor and "senior friendly" approach to term III made coming to class bearable. How could you not
like a teacher who tells you to go to Georgia for a few days to get your work done? Although my group never ventured out of New York State, we managed to have a lot of fun. Emily and Megan were a wonderful group and made my final class at EC a success. Having a group that worked
hard was a real treat. I have learned about many different aspects of each of the different branches of the military from the others in my class, and I have enjoyed seeing what it is that interests each of the different women. I am very proud of the website that we have put together and hope that those who view it understand all the hard work that went in to it

www.women was one of the best classes I have taken at Elmira College. This class challenged me in many ways. I learned how to be more creative and how to make a web page, which will be very helpful to me later in life. Also, it made me keep on task and not procrastinate too much. I have a new found respect for women in the military that I never thought that I would. This continued to prove to me the strength of women. I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a term three class. It pushes you in new ways that no other class could do, while at the same time is fun.

I really enjoyed this class. I would definitely recommend it for anyone to take. You learn a lot, but it’s not in a classroom and it’s not textbook so it makes it more fun. I really enjoyed
working in a team, I think it helped us all to bring forth our strengths, creativity, and brainstorming. It also brought Mandy, Krista and I closer because we had a lot of constructive work to do together. I’m so glad no broken friendships resulted. I’m really proud of the work we did in this class

I loved this class so much! I was really happy to learn how to make webpages, I know that will be something that will help me in the future. I loved working with two of my best friends in a
group, we had a lot of good ideas, while working both hard and well together. Currently, we do not have any broken friendships because of this class. I liked the non-classroom atmosphere of the class, it was kinda like a swim at your own risk kind of thing, and made those things more interesting. I am so happy with the final outcome of our webpages because I still can't believe that we made them. It was a good accomplishment. Thanks for a great term!
