"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."
--Winston Churchill

My name is Ashley Corrine Barker, and I am a Freshman at Elmira College. I am a Business Administration and Marketing major. I am currently on the Women's Varsity Soccer team.

This website was created for my third term class www.women. THe main page displays the group interview we performed for Kim Insalaco, a bronze medalist in the Olympic games.

My third term is almost over and I am bitter sweet about leaving. I am excited to go home for the summer and see my family and friends that I left behind when I went to college. At the same time, I have been in the college enviornment since mid- August. I have created great relationships at college...and I think it will be extremely hard for me to leave this environment. Good byes are one of the hardest things for me to do. I always fear people changing and growing apart from me.

Since entering college, I have have matured and grown a great deal. I think I have become more outspoken and feel more confident in voiceing my opinion. I think my laidback personality often gets taken advantage of, and I have learned how to face people when I have a problem.

On March 25, 1987 I blessed this world with my prescense. I grew up in Lansing, NY a small town in Upstate New York. I have an older brother who attends Brockport State and will be a senior in the fall.

My parents have served as a backbone for me throughout my life. I am extremely grateful for their support through every endevor I have attempted in my life. Since being at school, I think I have realized how important they are and all of the sacrifices they have made for me.

Athletically, I have participated in sports my entire life. My parents have always made sure that I get the best opportunities to excel in sports. Growing up, I participated in a wide varierty of sports. I began to concentrate on soccer in grade school, and my focus grew even stronger when I entered Highschool. I have played scholastic, club, premier, and collegiately. Every season I look to improve my technique in hopes of having an edge on other players.

Martini. Pretty much the love of my life. I'm not going to lie, I am completely head over heals obsessed with a 4.5 pound ball of white fur. I would murder an entire indian village just to prevent him from feeling pain. Honestly, he is the sexiest guy I have ever laid my eyes on. I don't know if this page gives me enough space to portray my devotion to Martin.

This section is kind of random, but I thought I would list some of my interests: Garlic mashpotatos, flip flops, tex messaging, high quality H20, soccer, VH1, knomes, 30 racks, Krispy Kreme, being scandelous, country music, sexy men, chicken marsala, Cinco de Mayo, tanning*, Tim Hortons, soup, road trips, ice cream, water skiing, sleep overs, smores, 4th of July fireworks, surprise visits, frapaccinos, naps, facebook, DP dough, running from the law, bbq's, Joe the I.T., Martini (my dog) and of course polo's.

Professor Maluso- I dedicate this portion of my page to you. I don't know if I have ever meet a women more influential and intelligent. Did I mention you're pretty? ohhh yeah that too. I think our page is pretty amazing!? Good enough to deserve an A maybe...ohhh I don't know.
