About the Author:

My name is Danielle Rose Thomas and I'm a sophomore at Elmira College in Upstate New York. I am a two-year member of the Women's Varsity Soccer team here duel majoring in Psychology and Women's Studies. After graduating I plan on attending graduate school and getting my Doctrine in order to achieve my career goal of becoming a Sex Therapist and Marriage Counselor. My best friend Ashley Barker and I also have the dream of opening our own restaurant/ deli shop.

I was born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts in a small town called Mashpee. I'm a Leo and was born on July 23,1986. My family and friends are my world and I couldn't ask for more supportive, loving, and humorous people to be in my life. My family and I also have three adorable cats named Bean, Catdog, and Smokey, which can be viewed in my photo gallery.

Attending College has completely changed me as a person because I finally have grown and matured into an adult, although I don't always behave like one. I am very thankful to have such a supportive and encouraging family who pushed me to go to college in the first place. Living seven hours away from home has truly made me appreciate and admire my family. Both of my parents, Peter and Marie, are my role models because they are extremely hard workers, whom overcame many hardships and obstacles to get to where they are now. They deserve the best of everything. My sisters Kaylyn (age 23) and McKenzie (age 14) are my other half; I would be completely lost without them. No matter what happens in my life it's reassuring to know they are always on my side, through the best times and the worst.

I was raised in an environment where humor and laughter over-compensate pain and suffering. I have continued to apply that to my life now that I'm on my own which explains why I surround myself with extremely funny people. Having hilarious best friends makes each day just as unpredictable and memorable as the last.

I enjoy so many things about life including: family, wild best friends, the ocean, the color green, going to the beach, ham, pickles, hot dogs, turkey clubs, Wishbone Italian Dressing, pasta salad, sandwhiches, seafood, lasagna, cookouts, going out to dinner, my cats, my Toyota Camry, beer, tanning, sleepovers, MTV, VH1, playing soccer, the Red Sox, Kate Spade, Tiffany's, Patriots, drinking, the bar/partying, holidays, music, driving, traveling, money, my birthday, funny movies, Facebook, Vera Bradley bags, hot men, shopping, Victoria Secrets, American Eagle, flip-flops, beach bonfires, fireworks, causing chaos, pranking people, playing with oreos, card games, whitewater rafting, rollerblading, working at the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod, summer time and you probably... just to name a few!!
