Welcome to My Life
My name is Gina
D'Amico and for as long as I can remember sports and outdoor activities have
been a significant part of my life. I grew up in Lewes,
Delaware a small
town located near numerous beaches and opportunities for outdoor activities.
Due to this fact the first form of athleticism I took part in was swimming.
I have a younger brother and sister who are also involved in athletics
and my parents have always allowed us to participate in the activities
we choose and have also been very encouraging. Gym was always my favorite
subject growing up and our annual Field Day activities were my opportunity
to shine. When it came time to decide between band, girl scouts, and
sports I always chose sports. I have had many experiences with the outdoors
and will continue to have them as long as I possibly can.
The memories I have will last me a lifetime, but the best part about being involved in athletics lie in the friends I made. So while I will probably never be able to recall the total wins and losses there are so many good memories that came from my involvement in sports. I am currently a sophomore at Elmira College and playing two sports has allowed a lot more room for new memories to be made.
