“This class by far was the most interesting one that I have ever taken.
Not only did I learn how to build a website, but I also learned how to operate
and appreciate Apple Macintosh computers....I have learned valuable tips
that I can definitely use in the future conducting and partaking in interviews.”
Ajene Heastie
“I loved the interview we had with our person Azure Davey. She was so inspirational
that it made the stress of learning something completely new so worth it.”
Alanna Leonard
“...This term had a great purpose; to explore female athletes, and I’m glad
I partook in it.” Alexia Strzalka
“Without the activities I would have gone crazy staring at a computer screen
every day.” Angela Pazzaglia
“I originally took this course as a way to learn how to do webpage design
and found myself asking how the people who do web design for a living don’t
have a mental breakdown....It’s safe to say that I have a whole new respect
for webpage creators.” Lisa Binsley
“The best experience I had in class was interviewing an Olympic athlete....Getting
to hear her share her experiences with us and sit down with us for an interview
was just a fantastic experience, and inspired everyone in my group.” Cara
McGurry
“The class...was a great learning experience for me. I not only got to expand
my knowledge on interviewing skills, but also expand my knowledge of how
to make a website.” Chris Tilberis
“Even though I wanted to rip my hair out of my head a bunch of times I am
glad that I took this course, and have a new skill that I knew nothing about.”
Jolene Wood
“The best part about this class was the laid back aspect that it had. Diane
let us know when and what we had to accomplish. She let us be independent
in our work and this allowed us to achieve some sort of time management.”
Courtney Davis
“Although web design can be very frustrating almost to the point of inflicting
physical pain to yourself, it was very important technological information
to learn for potential future needs. “ Danielle Thomas
“I really liked this class and would recommend anyone to take it just for
the opportunities it allows.” Danielle Rash
“Overall, this course made me realize how things are not equal as we make
think they are, and that we still have a ways to go as a human race to make
things the way we want them to be.” Grace Wright
“Throughout this course, I have learned a great deal about other programs,
such as iView, iMovie, iDVD, and Quicktime. I have also gotten much more
comfortable using a Mac, because previously I had avoided using them at
all costs. I would not hesitate to recommend this class to anyone.” Kortney
Robinson
“I was very nervous and excited to interview an Olympic athlete and the
interview actually turned out to be really fun and a good learning experience.”
Kristen McMahon
“I am very excited to finally see the hard work of our whole class permanently
on the internet for all to see.” Amanda Lauback
“I will remember this project for a long time. It is by far the best project
I have done in my college career.” Lauren Mancino

felt a real sense of accomplishment, which I associate with my hard work.”
Meghan MacLeod

course. Overall, I feel that I have learned a lot, and I have actually grown
to love Mac computers!" Krista Hitchcock
