Welcome
I started full time with Elmira College in May 2009. Prior to becoming full time, I taught at Elmira College on a part-time basis. I have previously have taught nursing at Mansfield University.
I come with many tears of Obstetrical nursing, as I am also a Certified Nurse MIdwife and have practiced for 10+ years with the Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, Pa.
I received my nursing diploma from Arnot Odgen School of Nursing, my BSN fro, Alfred University, my MSN from Syracuse Universilty , and my Midwifery Certificate form Case Western Reserve University.
I enjoy teaching and believe that learning is an active process that must be the responsibility of the learner as well as the instructor. All students can learn and I am aware that we all learn differently that is why I imploy several types of learning styles in my classrooms. Participation and "doing" are major connections to learning.
