I was born and grew up in New York City I attended college at the State University of New York at Albany, Brooklyn College and the State University College at Geneseo. I have worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist for the New York City Board of Education, the Association for Retarded Citizens and the Corning-Painted Post School District.
I have worked at Elmira College for the past 34 years and am currently an Associate Professor of Speech and Hearing. I have served on many faculty committees, am an Academic Advisor and the Faculty Advisor to the Elmira College Chapter of the National Student Speech/Language/Hearing Association. I have presented at conferences of the Eastern Psychological Association, The American Psychological Association and the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association. I am co-author of a professional journal article on gestures, which is published in the American Journal of Psychology.
