I grew up in East Haddam, Connecticut, a small town where I spent all my childhood, attending Nathan Hale-Ray High School. I grew up with my parents and three older siblings. And, for as long as I can remember I've enjoyed playing sports, participating in community events and in general being constantly busy to pass the time.
Family is very important to me and I certainly have a big enough one to consume a large sum of time tring to constantly catch up with. I have three nephews and three nieces who I adore and have so much fun watching grow up. Since my siblings are so many years older than me, I spent much of my life as if I was an only child, which definitely had its advantages and disadvantages.
Growing up in such a small town allowed me to make life-long friends at a very young age. It is nice to have such a close-knit group of people who understand, accpet and encourage one another along the winding road of life. My friends at school are definitely no different. They are my rock and have come to be my family away from home over the past three years. I wouldn't change or trade any one of them. We are there for one another through thick and thin, and every one of them has something unique and amazing to offer the rest of us.
