Artwork
This is a photograph of lamps made by Graham. The lamps are made out of dried gourds that she grows herself. The process to grow and dry each gourd is a long process, taking almost 1 year for a gourd to completely dry out and be workable. She grows them in her backyard and harvests them. After they are dried, she goes to work. As you can see, she makes all different types of lamps, from standing ones to small table ones. Graham hopes to open up a place in downtown Ithaca where other local artists can come and set up their work and then people from the community can just walk in whenever they want and be able to participate. This hobby of Graham's is something that she loves to do, and the materials are always going to be there for her.
