Favorite Books

I love books, music, and movies. I find the adventure of jumping into a new world and the hidden mystery behind a page fascinating. I could spend hours pursuing the titles of history in an old library or scouring the shelves of a bookstore offering the treat of a new adventure. I enjoy seeing others stories come to life on a screen, or imagining the journey suited for a particular sound track.

In the tale, in the tell, we are all one blood. Take the tale in your teeth, then, and bite til the blood runs, hoping it's not poison; and we will all come to the end together, and even to the beginning: living, as we do, in the middle.  ~ Ursula Le Guin

~The Charmed Life~
By,
Michelle L. Kilgour

A wish, for a normal life
     Is there such a thing?
For these three witches, who conquer all
Will their power set them free?
A sisterhood, meant to be
To fight the act of evil?
Conquering, will their demons vanish
And allow them to live a dream?
Never losing, their sense of wonder
     In one breath of determination!
A charmed life, they live
     These Powerful three!

A challenge, an angel will face
     To love a powerful witch!
The freezing of time, will stop everything
    But life continues to subsist!
A lost sister, who left memories for two
Brings a fire that burns within!
And the life, to end is born again
With the lost powers left to new!
The sight, of the once youngest
     Peers into worlds unknown!
For the son, who hold the key
Of that, that was and is to be!

Words from the Wise

If you suffer your people to be ill-educated, and their manners corrupted from infancy, and then punish them for those crimes to which their first eductaion exposed them to, what else is to be concluded sire, but that you first make thieves and then punish them?
~Drew Barrymore
as Danielle in Ever After

Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and it is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure in whatever comes.

~Shane West
as Landon in A Walk to Remember

The truth. It is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution.

~Albus Dumbledor in Harry Potter

Space: Their are no stop signs up there, there's no defining space. We've always defined our space. A wall here a room there, a hallway, a road, we have this way of dividing our space until it equals a direction. We have even created a space for the dead. Space is a difficult thing to grasp.

~Billy Bob Thornton
as Charles Farmer in The Astronot Farmer

I don't know. It's a mystery!
