Cly Boehs was born in 1937 in Oklahoma. She taught at the University of Oklahoma for a few years, then moved to Upstate New York and worked as an art teacher at Broad Street Elementary School in Horseheads, NY and, until recently, for BOCES. Now that Cly is retired from full-time teaching, she is very devoted to her performance art;performing rituals and reciting her literature for audiences. Her work is a reflection of herself; a passionate celebration of the continuous cycle of the creation and regeneration of life.
