We, Kellie Della Sala, Melissa Punzo, Jen Burke, and Fathima Husain, would like to give thanks to a great performance artist, Cly Boehs. She has given us a new perspective on performance art.
When we interviewed Cly, she took us to a whole new level of thinking. We began to understand storytelling through her eyes. When we think of performance art the first thing that comes to mind is acting and dancing on stage. But, what Cly does is perform by talking or just simply moving an arm or leg. People of society take things for granted, such as, earth, water, fire, and air. She explains the every day factors of nature then transforms them into her own views on life.
Everyone should get a chance to witness Cly's performances. Then Cly Boehs will take you into a whole new perspective of performance art.
We thank Kathy Morris for the fantastic photographs that were taken of Cly's performances. Every picture that is shown was the work of Ms. Morris. We would not have been able to successfully complete this project without her work.
In closing, the four of us would like to thank Diane Maluso. Diane is our professor at Elmira College. Without her guidance and humor we would not have been able to have finished this great project. She has given us the tools and knowledge of making this fantastic web site. We've had a blast, Oh and thanks for the telephone wake-up reminders for class.
