Second Life is a 3-D virtual world where residents can create an avatar, build, explore, and interact with others in real time.

The website gives you a bit of an idea what Second Life is like but you really need to get in there to get it. My name there is Genna Banjo and I've got a couple of projects going. One is called Third Wave and it's a gathering place for feminists. I host activities, discussions, and events in a big old barn.
I also run Soundscapes, a supplier of environmental sounds for landowners. Soundscapes brings in an income that I can use to pay for the activities at Third Wave.
