Family
My family is the most important element of my life. My immediate family consists of my Mom, Dad and little sister Danielle. The majority of my family lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with our cat Slinky. Both my mom and my dad are the oldest siblings in their families and are all close in contact with them. Me being the first born in my family, I am 20 years old with my sister who is 4 years younger than me and just turned 16 without me at home. When I go home she will be driving cars, a scary thought for me about my 'litte/taller than me' sister. I am also the oldest of all but 2 of my cousins making family get togethers quite a handful for me. Always, always, always a good time with family. We live by the motto, Family First.

Nobess Family
My grandma Nobess, Jean, married my Grandpa Nobess, Ron at the young age of 17 and had my Mom the same year. Following the birth of my mom was my Uncle Rick, Uncle Mike and my autistic Uncle Derek. Rick married Val and had three boys Matt, Kyle and Jesse. Many, many afternoons and evenings were spent playing mini-stick hockey or street/roller hockey on the streets of our neighborhoods. My Uncle Mike lives just outside of Winnipeg and comes in and visits nearly every weekend. Big Mike never ceases to make me laugh with his sarcastic sense of humor. My Uncle Derek lives under the care of two wondeful people Marlin and Nicole who have adopted him and treats him as their own family. Marlin and Nicole live near my house in Winnipeg and just had their first son Wyatt nearly 2 years ago. The Nobess family gets together for every birthday and holiday and never needs an excuse to play a game of cards, lawn darts or Bocce ball.
McGurry Family
The McGurry family is always a great time. My Irish Grandpa Frank married my Polish Grandma Stefanie to create a large drinking, singing, perogie eating family. Grandpa Frank passed on about 10 years ago but my Grandma still lives strongly and healthily in the same house that all of her children were brought up in. Stef's Kitchen is notoriously known for the feasts of food that are produced from it each and everyday. If you're even in her area you're expected to drop in and eat a meal fit for a King. My Dad, Brendan was the first born before his 2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters were born. Sharon was the next born followed by Bruce, Ed and Alice. Sharon married Tony and moved to Calgary where she now lives with my younger cousins Paul, Nicole, Megan, Sarah. Bruce married Monique and now lives just outside of Winnipeg with his healthy kids Tyler and Taylor. All of my cousins are actively involved in sports in the community and when we get together we are always doing something athletic. Ed recently married Colleen and had their first child, a boy, Max just under 2 years ago. Alice, the baby of the family was only 16 when I was born and has been a great Auntie. She also was my volleyball coach during High School and is an extremely athletic person. She married Jim and the two of them live in Winnipeg with their 2 beautiful cats. Time spent at the McGurry cottage is always a blast and every August Long Weekend we all get together and party in the Gazebo aka the 'Sin Bin' where the music is always loud and the singing even louder.
