Where I've been...
France 2005
A ten day tour throughout France. Got to put my 6 years of French class to good use (and was pretty successful! ☺) Versailles was by far my favorite; such a breathtakingly beautiful place. Places like the Louve, the Arch de Triomph, Notre Dame, and the Eiffel Tower bought history to life which was incredible. The people, the food and the culture was a great first bite of the travel bug.
Nashville 2007 
My friend & I were looking at a map and said “dude, how sweet would it be to go to Nashville.” So, we packed up her 91 Saturn and took a 4 day road trip from Elmira College to Nashville, Tennessee to meet cowboys (obviously). It was a great trip and we did it for next to no cost (we bought food before hand from our school store and ate lots of peanut butter and jelly).
India 2007
A four week journey throughout Northern India. Hard to find the exact words to describe this experience. The people, the smells, the food, the culture, so different from anything I have ever experienced. Overall I loved this trip (minus a few stomach friends that joined the party uninvited). 
Colorado 2008
Spent the summer thinking “I’m actually getting paid for this?!!!” Worked at a sleep away camp in the Rocky Mountains where I worked in the kitchen and the barn. Got to teach children how to tack and ride (Western style) and leading trail rides. Also got to learn all about western America. How did I end up here? A Google search for “fun summer jobs.” Yep, I’m that awesome ☺
California 2009
A two week backpacking trip through the Channel Islands and Sequoia National Park. Got to hike and ocean kayak the Channel Islands which are absolutely beautiful. Best part for me was the boat ride out to the islands when a pod of dolphins swam next to the boat. Snorkeling at Catalina Island was tons of fun, as was exploring Sequoia National Park and seeing the huge trees!
Where I’m going:
September 2010- July 2011
India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Kenya, Uganda, Ukraine, Romania and 3 other countries to be determined. I will be spending a month in each location. How? Through The World Race!
