SUBSTANCES

According to the World Anti-Doping Agency, “The use of any drug should be limited to medically justified indications.” Although the World Anti-Doping Agency attempts to ensure that athletes are competing clean without any enhancements, many athletes in recent years have found numerous methods and substances that are un-detectable by scientific testing. As a result, every year the World Anti-Doping Agency publishes a list of Prohibited Substances and Doping Methods. As of 2009, the following substances and methods have been prohibited in the attempt to level the playing field amongst athletes.
