My name is Christine Elizabeth Burkard and I am currently a junior at Elmira College and will be graduating in the spring of 2007. I was born in Rochester, NY and at 3 years old moved to Syracuse, NY. Living in Syracuse for 17 years has been quite an experience. There are many opportunities there and activities to become involved in. After graduating Liverpool High School in 2003, I had many decisions to make. My final choice was to continue my education at Elmira College, which is about two hours south of Syracuse. Here at EC, I have met great people who will stay in my life forever. As a psychology major, I find the professors to be very attentive and supportive. Once I graduate Elmira College, I plan to attend graduate school to get a doctorate in clinical psychology. The class I am involved with this Term III, 2006, is called www.women, which focuses on female athletes. The goal of the class is to make several websites and to participate in a few activities, wuch as outdoor sports, fly fishing, etc that are assigned. The purpose of this particular website is to allow the viewers to get to know me. Throughout this website one will find information about my family life, my activities that I participated in for the class, and my life involving athletics.
