About Me |
|||||
My name is Jennifer Lynn
Mayo. I was born on January 31, 1985 in Brunswick, Maine. I have lived in Bowdoin, a small town in Maine, my entire life. I went to Bowdoin Central School, then Mt. Ararat Middle School, followed by Mt.
Ararat High School. I
am currently a psychology and human services double-major at Elmira
College in Elmira, New York. As for my family, I have
a twin sister named Jessica, an older brother named Adam and another
older half-brother named Aaron. Jessica attends the University
of New England in Biddeford, ME and my brother is a JPW at
Long
Creek Youth Development Center in Portland, ME. Aaron
works for my father, Roland, who owns his own plumbing and heating
business. My mother, Karen, is a secretary at Bowdoin Central School. My
family is the most important thing in my life, and I don't
know what I would do without them. My
grandmothers and great aunts and uncle are also really important
figures in my life. I have two pets, a cat named Robin and a beta fish named Charlie. In the near future, I would like to attend graduate school and eventually obtain a PsyD. I am hoping to one day work as a child psychologist and have my own practice. I love working with kids and have been an America Reads tutor at the local elementary schools for two years. In addition to recreation activities, there are a few other things that I enjoy doing. One of my favorite pastimes is watching movies, but I also like to scrapbook, draw, shop, read, and hang out with friends. I like to travel, although I haven’'t done much of this lately, since school takes up most of my time. My most recent trip was to Niagara Falls with my sister. It was beautiful! |
