The Johnston's!
My family has a close bond that can never be broken, which makes me miss them more everyday. My mom Louise Johnston is my best friend and has a personality that can light up a room. She has amazing qualities that I can only wish I can obtain when I am a mother. She is the best mother I know because she always puts her kids before her. She is such a proud mother of how successful her children have become. Her main goal in life is not to travel the world, or to buy the nicest things possible, but to watch us grow into mature adults. Her children are her whole life and I know that she would not trade us for the world. My dad Brett Johnston is my role model and hero. My mom has always told me that I am his child and that he was the one who gave birth to me. I am his spitting image with his personality and heart. He always has been proud of me since day one and always encourages me to be the best person I can be. I know he would do anything for me and will be there through the good or the bad. I owe my strength to my parents because they have taught me how to be the best person I can.
However, I cannot forget about my older brother Evan Johnston. He is the reason I am who I am. Not only is my mom my best friend, but my brother is as well. I have been sitting here trying to think about what I should write about him but words cannot express him. He is the most intelligent, caring and passionate person I have met. We have a relationship that most siblings do not have and I would do anything for him, and if he asked me to go through a wall I would. It is amazing to see how much he has grown and who he has become. My family is my life and it is really only the four of us. We have learned that life can be unpredictable and that family is the most important part of our lives.

The Friends!
Throughout my life I have met some amazing individuals. However, I cannot say that they have all stayed in my life. I wish I had the ability to stay friends with everyone but it is merely impossible. I have a couple best friends that I have managed to keep that I will always be there for. They have been my backbone when I needed advice or a shoulder to turn to. Ranging from girls to boys, a friend is a friend no matter what gender or age. The one that have made it this far from my early childhood I know will be there for the rest of my life. When I came to college I thought I would automatically know the people I would become close with for a lifetime. I cannot agree with putting a timeline on a friendship, but I know early on in my freshman year who will remain in my life. I am excited to gain stronger friendships with new people as my college experience goes on, and have a fun time with the ones that remain. I want to keep the ones who are excited to live their life’s and who will make memories we will remember even until we are grey and old meeting up at Tim Horton’s for brunch and watching our soap opera’s in slippers.
Olivia Resch, Lauren Sullivan, Maddy Wareham, Fielding Montgomery, Caitlin Metcalf, Heather Hughes, Marki Michaels and Kalley Armstrong are the best friends I could ask for. Even though we are seperated, I know we will be friends forever.
