Hi, my name is Colette O’Brien and I'm just finishing up my freshmen year at Elmira College. At Elmira College I am a Nursing major that would someday like to be a Nurse Practitioner or a Nurse Anesthetist.

Besides going to college I enjoy all kinds of sports and activities especially, lacrosse. I have always wanted to play lacrosse in college and I accomplished that goal because I am now a member of the Elmira College Women’s Lacrosse.Hi, my name is Colette O’Brien and I'm just finishing up my freshmen year at Elmira College. Ithaca Gorge Hike

Together as a class, we went on a hike at Robert H. Treman State Park. I had never been on an actual hike so I didn't kow what to expect. At first the hike looked like it was going to be hard and take forever but it was a beautiful day out, not too hot and not too cold. I was amazed at how pretty the scenary was and how beautiful the waterfalls looked. Once we got to the top I felt accomplished and proud that I made it that far. After going on this hike I realized that this would definitely be something I would do again and I would share my experience with other family and friends. Next time I go on the Ithaca Gorge hike I would like to jump right in and go swimming!
