Laura Kreidler

In a quiet residential area of Ithaca, New York, Laura Kreidler steadily works in her garage that was craftily converted into her work space years ago. Pottery has become her way of life, and she is more than content with this lifestyle. She has had an interest in ceramics since she was a young child, but did not make pottery a career until 1986. Laura works with many different materials, including stoneware, porcelain, earthenware, and terra cotta, and creates her works mostly on the pottery wheel. Each piece of Laura's art is quite diverse and unique. She prides herself on how she expresses her creativity, yet each work has a functional use.
