Life Outside of Hockey
Hockey is not the only thing in my life that is important. I participate in many other sports such as soccer, ball hockey and softball. In addition to all of these sports that I enjoy I have two other main interests. The first interest or hobby is music. My life is full of music because that is how I was raised. My mother is whom I received my musical talent from. As a child I was in my school choir and on my own time I played the piano. However I soon was bored with the piano and moved onto the guitar and the trumpet. Unfortunately now that I am graduated from high school I no longer have time to play my trumpet but I regret not playing in a group in college.
However there are other hobbies that interest me besides music. When I was attending Appleby College School my best friend Lauren Hogarth sparked my interest in Sport Photography. By the time Senior Year rolled around Lauren and I accounted for close to three quarters of the pictures in our school yearbook. Now that I’m out of high school and entering my sophomore year in college I have trouble making time for my hobbies. Therefore summertime is prime for relaxing, taking some pictures and playing a little music with my family.
