Biography.

I was born on March 12th 1991, I grew up in small town Elmvale Ontario, population 1700. Well actually I live in Orr Lake, which is a bunch of houses surrounding the lake just outside of Elmvale. Growing up I attended the catholic elementary school Our Lady of Lourdes and then once graduated I attended Elmvale District High School. High school in a small town is so much better than what I’m sure everybody imagines it. Our community spirit was a huge part as to why attending school there was so enjoyable. We had the privilege of being a large part of the town with our different activities such as the annual Fall Fair or Maple Syrup Festival. Living in a small town means being able to walk down a few houses to your friends, or the fact that all our parents were friends when they were in high school too. Although I had point in my life where I felt as if I need to escape the small town scene, Elmvale is a close community with a lot a spirit and I wouldn’t want to grow up anywhere else. I knew that one day I wanted to leave Elmvale and attend school in the US so that I could play lacrosse and that’s just what I did. I now attend Elmira College in New York and the small college gives me the comfort of home. I have not yet decided on a major but I know that one day I hope to do something in the field of recreation.
