Just For Fun.
Adventure has always been my thing. I have always loved the outdoors and taken full advantage ofopportunities to be outdoors. I love winter activities such as snowmobiling and snowboarding, both of which I have done for many years now. However hiking and canoeing were things I grew attached to in High School when I joined the outdoors club. Since then I have gone on 4 canoe trips through Algonquin, Killarney and Massasauga Parks and I hope to continue going on trips.
I have traveled to Banff, Alberta twice and I honestly think it is the most beautiful place I have ever been. Both times however were in the winter so I hope that soon I can travel there in the summer and experience it then. I also wish to spend sometime in British Columbia in both the winter and summer seasons.
Truman Gorge Climb.
We as a class travelled to Ithaca's Truman State Park and had the opportunity to climb just over two miles up through the park. It was a difficult hike up hill with a lot of steep stairs however it was beautiful and I enjoed being able to see some of the waterfalls the park had to offer. I even stepped on a snake, which is something I hope to never do again.
