Outdoors

I have decided to add this outdoor page to my web site because even though it is not a formal sport my whole life I have been doing other activities that are sport like and I thought this would be the perfect place to share them. Ever since I was little in Washington my family and I have gone hiking, skiing, and white water rafting. White water rafting has to be my favorite thing that my family and I do together. My favorite time in my life is being out on the river holding on to the ropes going over the bumpy parts of the water. My dad my brother and I also like to go hiking and camping together. We go for day hikes and then pitch the tent where ever we stop for the day. In the winter my family and I go skiing up in vermont, where we ski for the day and relax in a cabin for the night. We also have family who professionally races snowmobiles so we spend a lot of our time going up and watching their meets also. We too have a couple of snowmobiles that we like to ride around our house during the winter. Finally in the winter my dad, brother, and I also go ice fishing on the lakes around town. We go out in our winter gear and sit and wait for the flags to go down on the pole letting us know we caught a fish. Also in the summer my dad and I like to do some father-daughter fishing on our boat. It is probably my favorite time because it is just me and my father out on the boat together catching fish. My whole life my family and I have been involved in tons of outdoor activities, and I can not wait to have these same experiences with my family one day.
