My Life With Outdoor Recreation and Sports!

I am a 19 year old business major at Elmira College from Massachusetts. I am active in the Varsity Cheerleading program where we recently place eighth at the National Cheerleading Association Collegiate Nationals.

Years ago my grandparents owned a camp for children called Medomack/Medokowanda in Maine. It was at this time that my father was introduced to outdoor activities that included camping, canoeing, fishing, waterskiing, and swimming. After being a part of this environment he came to enjoy these activities. When I was old enough to experience these things, my father introduced me to it all. I learned to camp, make a fire, water-ski, and enjoy nature. We went on hikes, cooked on the fire, slept in tents, and showered in lakes. It was during this week in the summer we had no connection to modern technologies.

My family enjoys camping, hiking, participating in water sports such as skiing, tubing, knee boarding, wakeboarding, and swimming. We also enjoy being athletes. My parents were both athletes in high school. My mom danced, performed in gymnastics, and cheered, while my dad played basketball, and baseball. Today, my brother, Taylor aka Bubba is a hockey player as well as a baseball player, while my cousin Courtney, aka Kennedy (my parents are her legal guardian) plays field hockey and softball.
