Other than family, my friends are the most important people in my life. I always was a social person, and I always had friends but friends come and go, and some stay by you. I think college is the true test of friendship; you lose a lot of friends but gain ones that you’ll know for the rest of your life. I’m pretty lucky; I think I’ve found the best set of friends a person could ask for. In High School, I had a lot of friends, but the true friends were the people just like me. I was a nerdy kid in high school, so I got to know a lot of nerdy people. I cannot tell you how much fun I had with them, the memories are fantastic. And I’m lucky to still have some of my good friends in contact today.
In college, I met a whole different set of friends. Granted, most of them enjoy video games, but who doesn’t. In these past two years, it’s been great getting to know them. All my friends have had a huge impact on my life and most of them of like family. They have made my years a blast and I know I’ll have so much more fun in the future. I cannot thank them enough for all that they have done for me.
"Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble." - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NLT)
