My family plays a very influential part in the person am today. From childhood, they have encouraged me to work hard and to maximize my innate potential. They motivate me into wanting to be my absolute best and every time I accomplish something great, I always remember to thank them for their support.

I live in a house of four that includes my mother, father, brother and me. As a family we enjoy going on vacations, cooking, shopping, laughing together, and going on family drives. My family has always been my pillar of strength as an ambitious teen growing up.

My extended family is really huge because my mom has 12 siblings and my dad 13. Because of this, my family often have reunions so that every generation can bond and get to know each other better. Many of them live in The Bahamas but there are also some that live in the United States.

My family is one that is very supportive. Whenever I participated in any event, they are always sure to be there just to show their love. Although I am far away and they are unable to physically be there, I am sure to get a call from my parents, my aunts or my cousins every day. Knowing that they are always thinking of me makes me want to do well in school and motivates me to be a good person to others. Never in a million years would I trade these people for rubies, diamonds, gold or any other earthly pleasure. They are the positive energy that makes me the happy person that I always am.
