~*~WHO ARE MY FRIENDS~*~

 

Unlike many people who just have one best friend, I have four. All of them are unique in their own way and provide me with a different taste of happiness.

Meet my friends and learn about how they contribute to my life's happiness:

• Zoe Sweeting- Out of all my best friends Zoe is similar to me in many ways. We dont stand for foolishness, we love to go to quite places as a small group rather than with large amounts of people, we love to be fashionable and most of all we love eac other. We were friends ever since grade two and today we have evolved into being best friends. Zoe is the type of person who is always willing to give you advice, but you must be willing to hear the truth even if it hurts. Zoe= Life and Ajene= Truth. A truthful life is the best life, and that must be why we are such great friends.
• Kandis Kelly- This young lady is truly one of a kind. If you want to vent and tell all your secrets to someone, she would be the one to choose. That’s what makes her so unique. We have this special bond where we can sometimes finish each other sentences or even dream similar dreams. Kandis has a happy spirit just like me and she is one that has the ability to turn your frown upside down and brighten up your darkest hour. Just like me, Kandis is a lover of shoes, bags and accessories and oh how she loves to go out just so that we can model our new items. Kandis is a very special friend to be because no matter what happens, or how long it takes for us to see or talk to each other, we can always pick up where we left off as if we just spoke an hour ago. It’s Incredibly simple that she's simply incredible!
• Ira Roker- This young man of God is my right hand guy, my better half, and my best friend. He is always there for me, and willing to do anything to make me happy. Whenever I am upset, he knows just the right words to say to make me happy again. He always says, "do you know that when you get mad you're loosing brain cells right?" and somehow the scary thought of what he just said would make me happy again. Ira is a person with a very lively spirit. He loves to make people laugh and have a good time. Just like all my friends, Ira is very particular about the way he presents himself. He never goes anywhere if his hair is not cut or his clothes are not stylish. Whenever Ira puts his mind to something, he gets it done. He must be the most persistent basketball player and accounts student of all his peers. He is truly one of the most unforgettable people in my life simply because he calls me every day just to be a nag. Nonetheless, I love him and he will forever be my friend.
• Kyle Strachan- This guy is an inspiration to me. He is a true example that anyone can change as long as they are willing. We have been together through the ups and downs in our lives; the good, the bad, and the ugly. He thinks he is a fashion King (just how I think I'm a fashion princess) and he loves to be clean. I guess the saying "cleanliness is next to Godliness" must be the truth as he depicts the very essence of the phrase. He is my prayer partner, my best friend for over 7 years, and a great big brother and I wouldn’t trade his love for anything this world has to offer.

Although these four are my best friends, I have other friends that also play an important role in my life.

My friend La'Tisa Rolle is one that I would call a lifesaver and the older sister that I never had. When I first came to Elmira College, she was the main person who helped me to adjust and be able to enjoy my freshman year. We traveled to New York City together, always went shopping and most of all laughed and had fun times together. I am truly gratful to have a friend like her.

 

My Friend Yashika Hepburn has also been a great friend to me for the past few years. She is my boss at Afrotique, and also a good mentor. Sheki is never hesitant to tell me the truth when I need to hear it, and neither is she a pretender. She has given me good advice on how to make investments, how to handle problems with my friends, and more excitingly provided great fashion advice. We can talk for hours upon hours and never get bored and although she is about five years older than me, she never looks down at me or view me as a little girl; instead, she shows me the love of a friend and a big sister. What more could I ask for in a friend? I am sure that as time goes by, our friendship will grow also and i am so happy to have met her.
