Cam Neely
Male Forward

Birthdate: June 6, 1965
Year Inducted: 2005
Position: Forward

Cam was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in 1983 and played for them for three seasons.  Then he was traded to the Boston Bruins.  There he doubled his points scored the previous season and grew as a player.

He played for the Bruins for ten seasons, and as time went on he became injury prone.  This affected the physical aspects of his game.  His title of power forward started to fade.  He made it to the Stanley Cup finals twice but never was crowned champion.

He is credited with some of the most remarkable scoring feats.  For example, in the 1993-94 season he scored fifty goals in forty-four games.

Cam reached the fifty goal mark three times in his career.  He played in five All-Star games.  In 1994 he won the Masterton Trophy.

He retired in 1996 and in 2004 the Bruins retired his number eight.
