Soccer Hall of Fame
Where Soccer Legends Live

The Hall of Fame is “dedicated to the sport of soccer in America by celebrating its history, preserving its legacy, inspiring its youth and honoring its heroes, for generations to come.”

Established in 1979, the National Soccer Hall of Fame includes an extensive archive of memorabilia associated with soccer in the United States.

There are over two-hundred and fifty individuals elected to the hall of fame for their outstanding contributions to soccer in the United Stated, both on and off the field. Six of these are female; the inductees include players and builders.

This Hall of Fame contains more than 100,000 items which is one of the largest collections of soccer artifacts and records in the world.

This facility is located in the outskirts of Oneonta NY.  It includes the Hall of Fame and Museum and four world class soccer fields. The museum has a wonderful gift shop containing everything from soccer balls and uniforms to posters and pins. Also in the building there are meeting rooms, a library, and even a concession area.

Sponsors for this Hall of Fame include Wilber National Bank, Hess, Time Warner Cable, Holiday Inn, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nike, Applebee’s, Price Copper, and Stewart’s Shops.
