Lacrosse Hall of Fame
Eligibility Requirements & Nomination Process

To be nominated a questionnaire must be submitted by or on behalf of a candidate.

Although the candidate did not necessarily have to attend college, if the candidate did so he or she must have graduated from college at least fifteen years ago.

These questionnaires are located on the Hall of fame website and can even be downloaded.

Then the Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Hall of Fame Nomination Committees evaluate all the candidates on file and present up to five men and five women to the US Lacrosse Board of Directors for election.

A seventy-five percent vote from the Board of Directors is needed to elect a candidate.

Once elected there is a formal induction ceremony annually at the Hall of Fame

The categories include a truly great player, a truly great coach, a truly great official/umpire, or a truly great contributor.
